Certain problems can occur with the use of certain alarm equipment on the Fibre optics line. Please contact the vendor of your alarm system before switching to your Fibre connection or change to an updated IP version.

Can I still make calls if there is an electricity interruption?

Unfortunately not, unless you have taken the initiative to install an uninterruptible power supply with battery. However, if your Wiizbox or the terminating equipment of the Fibre optics have been disconnected (possibly by yourself), you are not reachable for calls to your destination.

How can I switch from 3G to 4G and vice versa?

With the mobile devices enabled with 4G, it is possible to switch on 2G/3G network.

How to proceed?

If the handling depends on each wireless device model, generally you must:

  1. Go to Settings> Mobile networks> Network mode preferred

  2. Choose a GSM (2G) and WCDMA (3G) network, (LTE is 4G)

  3. Accept the new settings. If you want to enable the 4G again, simply re-select an LTE network.

We recommend that you always enable at least the GSM network because there are still areas without 3G (WCDMA) access.

What is the IMEI code? Where can I find it?

The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique serial number for each mobile device. Composed of 15 to 17 digits, it identifies a stolen mobile and can block it if needed. You can find your IMEI under the battery of the device and on the label of the packaging next to the bar code.

My phone has been lost or stolen, what should I do?

Do not panic. If you think you have lost your phone or that it has been stolen, the first thing to do is block your SIM card to make it unusable. Evaluate which installed applications require a change of login / password (eg. Banxafe) to protect your data. In a second step, we encourage you to report, if applicable, the theft to the authorities by providing your IMEI number of your device.

In summary, here are the steps to perform:

1) Call our customer service at +352 671 009 009 (mobile) or +352 2889 9009 (fix)

2) Declare the loss of your device and we will block your SIM card right away to prevent unauthorized use by a third party. Upon your request , we will send you a new SIM card . Depending on your rate plan , it will be free (X -Large and XX- Large) or you will be charged 10 €.

3) You will receive your new SIM card to activate and , of course, you keep the same mobile number.

Will I receive a new device in case of theft or loss?

It depends on the type of insurance you have subscribed to. If you have an insurance covering theft, go to your retailer with the necessary documents.

JOIN doesn’t offer specific insurance against theft devices yet. However, this service will soon be available for our customers. A little patience.
